The Archaeological Park of Carsulae, a walk through history<\/h2>\n

Carsulae is an ancient city of Roman origin located between San Gemini and Terni along the Via Flaminia.\u00a0Probably the first settlements of Carsulae date back to 900 BC. and after a period of considerable growth given by the proximity to the Via Flaminia that favoured trade, this city began its decline accelerated, also, by landslides that devastated many houses and public buildings.<\/p>\n

Uninhabited from the Middle Ages, today Carsulae has become an archaeological park where it is possible to take a stroll through history to admire the remains of the Arch of San Damiano, the Forum, the Gemini Temples, the Amphitheater, some funerary monuments and some houses.<\/p>\n
