The San Gemini Post Office
The San Gemini Post Office has been used as accommodation for students and professors engaged in courses of conservation and restoration of the cultural and archaeological heritage of the “San Gemini Preservation Studies Program” promoted by the Valorisation Association of the Historical Heritage San Gemini Onlus. On 12 July 1849, according to tradition, this ancient Post Office hosted Giuseppe Garibaldi and his wife Anita during their escape from Rome to Perugia.
The first floor of the building, that until the Second World War housed horses, offers now elegant and comfortable rooms equipped with a private bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite channels, and wi-ficonnection
In the building there is also a nice kitchen where to prepare breakfast.
